Tolerisk's Schwab integration allows you to map client accounts from Schwab into Tolerisk.
Importing client Accounts from Schwab -
- Navigate to the “Accounts/Groups” tab located under the Portfolio Analytics dropdown.
- To add accounts individually, click the “Add account or group” button. Adding accounts one-by-one allows you to customize account names, target risk levels, and tax statuses. Under the “Type” dropdown, select "Account".
- To create a group containing multiple accounts, follow the same steps highlighted before, but select “Group” under the "Type" dropdown. You will see all the accounts you added for the client you have selected, and you will be able to group their accounts together.
- Once you name the account and set up other customizations, click “Save”. This will add the account as a row on the Accounts and Groups page.
- If you want to add accounts in bulk, click the “Bulk Add” button. Under source, select “Schwab” and choose your client. All the accounts linked to that client in Schwab will appear below. You can then select the accounts you want to import and click “Create Selected”.
- Once your accounts populate on this page, clicking the bell icon associated with each row and heading to the "Risk Monitor" tab located under the Portfolio Analytics section will allow you to view risk levels for your accounts or groups all at once, and compare them to their risk directive with a quick glance.
- Once you have successfully created your Accounts and Groups, you can use these to feed into your client’s risk assessments. To do this, open a client’s assessment and head to the Ability page. When you scroll down to the “Assets” section, click the “Assets Worksheet” button.
- When you click “Add Account”, a row will appear. Clicking the chain icon on the left side will bring up a dropdown listing all the accounts imported from one of your integrations, in this case, Schwab.
- Once you add your accounts, click “Apply”. This will add your client’s accounts to the “Ability” section of this assessment.
